Basketball Court Lines

Full Court Dimensions:

• Professional NBA and College Basketball court is 94’ x 50’.

• High school, and Junior High court 84’ x 50’.

The Foul Line:

• For all Courts, The foul line distance is 15' from the foul line to the front of the backboard and 18' 10" from the baseline.

The Key:

• Also called the free throw lane or "the paint" is 16’ wide for NBA, and 12’ wide for College, High school and Junior High play and Extends 15' from the backboard to the free throw line

3 Point Line or Arc:

• High School: 19’ 9”

• NCAA: 22' 1.75"

• NBA: 22’ in the corners and 23’9” on the arc

• REMEMBER, when taping with the StraitLiner Plus, ADD 1.75” to the RADIUS of the circle when chalking!
  (ie: High School 3 Point Line should be measured to 19’10.75” instead of 19’9”)
